REICHGOTT RECEIVES PURCHASE AWARD HONORS
BG Senior is 2007 Festival Award Winner

Anna Reichgott, a 2007 graduating Senior from Bowling Green High School, was awarded the 2007 Black Swamp Arts Festival Youth Arts Committee purchase award in May, 2007. "Eye Series" a collection of Solar Plate and Itaglio printmaking, was selected from the high school's annual A-MAY-zing Art Show by two Black Swamp Arts Festival Youth Arts Committee Members: Wendy Murphy, an Art Teacherat Anthony Wayne High School, and Andrea Euler, an Art Teacher at Bettsville School.

Each year since 2005, the Youth Arts Committee of the Black Swamp Arts Festival selects an outstanding work of art from the Bowling Green annual art show. The recipient receives an award of $100 and a ribbon bearing the festival's name. The artwork is on permanent display at the high school, in an area dedicated to the Festival's purchase award winners. Reichgott's artwork will also be featured in The Focus show, a regional juried show at the Toledo Museum of Art.
